International Federation of Religions in An Association with The United Nations

The International Federation of Religions ( I.F.R.), is an organization of inter-religious brotherhood co-operation among religious leaders and heads of governments by means of which the World Eternal Peace Conference will be convened. Founded in 1975, in Bangkok, Thailand, the I.F.R. has to race its work in time to prevent the outbreak of World War III.

The following are its Objectives as stated under the Article III of its Constitution:-

1. Help promote mutual practice amongst members,  strict observance of the teachings of the great founders of religions;
2. Help strengthen unity, solidarity, and brotherhood amongst members;
3. Help propagate the sublime doctrines of religions;
4. Help render cooperation in the work of social, educational, cultural, and other humanitarian services;
5. Help promote a lasting peace and harmony for all mankind, and collaborate with other organizations working towards the same goal;
6. Help promote unification amongst men with opinion to  creating world unity;
7. Help eliminate controversial disagreement on religious and political doctrines in order to raise the spirit of religious brotherhood and equality for all mankind;
8. Help promote human rights in their work that will not cause harms and difficulties to mankind;
9. Help search for ways and means to work together on the convention of an Eternal Peace in this World.

Under the direction of World Peace Envoy, Dr. Suchart Kosolkitiwong, the I.F.R. has expanded its all-out activities, especially the nationwide branch offices, applying the ideal of peace to people of all walks of life. It has branch offices in 52 provinces throughout the  country of Thailand and works in association with other international organization sharing the same objectives. Since its founding, the I.F.R. has sent fifteen religious missions for peace to every cornor of the world to propose their peace ideals to leaders of world religions and governments. In 1981, its strenuous effort for world peace was recognized and the I.F.R. was officially accepted by United Nations as a non-governmental organization associated with UN Department of Public Information.
