The Religious Land Hooppha Sawan (The Valley of Divine Paradise ) Don Sai Sub-District, Pak-Tho District, Ratchaburi Province, Thailand

Created in 1970  in the mountain range area known as  “ Tham Phra” ( Buddha’s Cave ) mountain.  About 100 kms.  south-west of Bangkok, it is out of reach of the buzzing sound of the materialist world, free from all noxious pollution and completedly oblivious of all human vibrations. Why the amazing existence of natural wonderment is not deprived is due to the fact that whole mountain range was officially decreed as an archaeological site since 1935. The Religious Land Hooppha Sawan is a holy place for people to make their pilgrimage there to meditate and chant for world peace. It is the center of inter-religious brotherhood co-operation as there stand on several high peaks statues of Great Founders and Symbols of workship of world religions. It is the landmark  of world peace, for on its topmost peak, about 200 meters above sea level, stands majestically a peace pagoda with Ten intricate tip-tops in which were enshrined the Holy Relics of Lord Buddha. On 19th of every month, since its completion, religious followers of different faiths climb up through 599 man-made steps to gather around this landmark of world peace to chant and pray in unison for divine power for the safety and peace of the nation and all mankind. It is also the venue of World Eternal Peace conference as the atmosphere of the natural environment is conducive to discuss sincerely about true peace for the world.
